Canal Dock Boathouse Website

Canal Dock Intro to Rowing programs are for 9th-12th graders (no experience necessary). Kids will learn to scull in single shells, learn plyometric & stretching exercises, row on Concept 2 ergometers, and have fun exploring the New Haven Harbor and Quinnipiac & Mill Rivers in New Haven.

The program is designed to give Participants the opportunity to participate in group sports instruction and competition with children of similar ages. EIR Urban Youth Boxing Website

EIR aims to introduce amateur boxing to the New Haven area youth, encouraging participation in sports, health and wellness among the areas youth, boys and girls alike. Available to children in grades  2-12.

Fixing Fathers One Dad at a Time Website

Tyrick B. Keyes Summer Youth Basketball League: This league is open to 150 youth in New Haven every year. Youth play basketball together while also learning important social-emotional and conflict resolution strategies. 

Fearless Builders Youth Academy: The Fearless Builders Youth Academy is a program open to children ages 7-12 years old. It is a fun summer camp environment which focuses on instilling community-centric values and peace-making strategies.

Shubert Theater Website

Shubert Theater will have Musical Camp for rising 5th/6th graders and 7th/8th graders each session this summer.  These campers will work on putting on the production of a musical.

Solar Youth Website

Solar Youth and Boys & Girls Club of New Haven, who have both served youth from the West Rock community through separate partnerships with Elm City Communities, decided to join forces again this summer! At YMCA Camp, campers enjoy fun activities and games that encourage children (ages 3-15) to develop new skills and try new things.
