Together, We Can

Building a strong community that takes care of everyone who lives here depends on your generous support.

For our first 5-Day Challenge, we focused on establishing clear definitions of: racial identity and racism; implicit bias; levels of racism; privilege and white fragility; and trauma and recovery. In order to further the conversation, we need to speak a common language.

Our second Challenge focused on inequities in the food system, examining existing structures and how we address the root causes of hunger and poverty in order to create a truly just and equitable food system.

Our third Challenge focused on inequities in education, taking a deeper look at our existing educational structures and the way the pandemic highlighted inequities our Black and Brown neighbors have been encountering for decades.

Each day includes an overview of the selected topic and a variety of ways to learn: read articles, watch videos, listen to podcasts, or complete actions. You have the choice of how you want to engage with the Challenge, but we ask that you commit 10-15 minutes each day to explore the resources.
