College Guide

Students experiencing homelessness while in college have the right to many of the necessities they need to focus on their studies. Discover programs that provide food, shelter, financial aid, and guidance for students in need.

Homeless Prevention Program

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the State of Connecticut has created a program to prevent individuals and families from becoming homeless.

Housing Assistance

Tenants and homeowners in New Haven who have experienced income loss due to COVID-19 and are experiencing housing insecurity may be eligible for Coronavirus Assistance and Security Tenant Landlord Emergency Program (CASTLE).


This program provides rental and utility payment assistance to qualified Connecticut households financially impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
