With your help, we can change the odds for children, families, and our community as a whole. United Way of Greater New Haven's work focuses on the building blocks of a self-sufficient life: education, financial stability, health, and basic needs.

Anyone can help: You can Give, Advocate or Volunteer.

Your financial support will help United Way create measureable long-term change in our community. Regardless of what you are able to give, your investment will help someone's child get a head start in school; will help a neighbor get ahead with job skills training; and will help bring organizations together to tackle challenging issues such as homelessness and hunger in our community. Together we can get results that no one can achieve alone.

One way to make your contribution even more effective is to start a workplace fundraising campaign at your place of business. Companies large and small show how they LIVE UNITED every day with workplace giving campaigns. Not only do these workplace campaigns offer employees an easy way to be philanthropic in their community, but they foster team building, improve morale and shine a positive light on your organization.

Give an hour. Give a Saturday. Give your best. We all have special talents. Things we can do to help. And when we reach out a hand to one, we influence the condition of all. Whether it’s preparing a community garden for planting, leading financial literacy classes for hard-working families, or participating in a kindergarten canvass, there are hundreds of volunteer options available every day.
