Volunteer Experiences

Volunteers said the best part of their United Way experience was:

"The whole office could work together, we saw immediate results, and we did a great job.”

"Knowing that others would enjoy the work my firm and I did."

"Interacting with people from the community the project benefited."

"Team united to accomplish something useful for others."

"We acheived much more than we ever thought possible."

"Learning about the city of New Haven and bonding with co-workers."

" In the days when all the headlines seem to be quite dark, this week was definitely a bright spot ... actually many bright spots ... and completely restored my faith in people and their goodness!"

“Our family enjoyed taking part of this great event. Days of Caring is extended to everyone of all ages and individuals, not just companies. Our experience again this year was great!"

" I would definitely volunteer for United Way Days Of Caring again. The people involved made us feel very welcomed and reminded us how Thankful and Important our support was to them, which made me even more eager to help out."
