10 Over 10.

This fall, United Way worked with businesses, schools, churches, and community members to mobilize, recognize, and celebrate the wonderful work volunteers contribute to our community.  We are happy to say that we have reached our community goal of 1,000 volunteers giving 10,000 hours to change their community!

In just 10 weeks, new partnerships between businesses and non-profits were formed, and long-standing ones were strengthened.  Students from local colleges spent a day volunteering at local non-profit organizations, while businesses teamed up with faith based organizations to help provide supplies to students in our community. Companies gave their employee's the opportunity to work as a team and give back to their community with week-long volunteer projects.  Because of the generous giving of so many community members we were able to save thousands of dollars for services and labor as well as build a better community for tomorrow.

We all have the power to create change in our community and we thank you for being a part of that change.
