- Tell us a little about how you Live United by giving, advocating and volunteering in the community.
Kim joined the United Way of Greater New Haven in April 2010 with responsibility for community investments and partnerships related to Education. She oversees the Boost! Wraparound Services Partnership and Success by 6 as well as other work related to children and youth. Prior to joining United Way, Kim worked for 15 years as an independent consultant for a variety of local and national public and non-profit clients. She has expertise in project management, strategic planning, communications and staff training, and a strong background in early childhood and K-12 education. Before she began consulting, Kim managed grantmaking in K-12 education for the IBM Corporation, and served as Assistant Press Secretary to the Chancellor of the New York City Public Schools. Kim began her career conducting grassroots environmental and consumer affairs campaigns for the Public Interest Research Groups in CT and MA. Kim holds an MBA from the Yale School of Management and a BA from Brown University.
