I'm external affairs officer at United Way of Greater New Haven, which means I spend most of my time "storytelling" and trying to come up with new, engaging ways to share stories of what United Way and our great community community partners are doing. I also manage our social media, so please connect with United Way of Greater New Haven on Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and Pinterest and join the conversation! I joined United Way in April 2012 after an 11-year career as a journalist. I spend part of my free time volunteering at New Haven Reads, serving as secretary of the Literacy Coalition of Greater New Haven and as treasurer of the Connecticut Society for Professional Journalists.
