Boost! Director

Tell us a little about how you Live United by giving, advocating and volunteering in the community.

Beth joined United Way of Greater New Haven in August 2011. As the Boost! Director, she is responsible for managing the team of volunteer service folks who are working directly in the New Haven Public Schools to enhance and assist in all things Boost!, as well as manage relationships with school-based Boost staff and enhance and engage partnerships.

Prior to joining the United Way, Beth was the Program Director at Solar Youth, a local youth development organization that focuses on Environmental Education. She played an integral role in the expansion of their after-school and summer programs while managing all projects, volunteers, interns and Educator staff. Beth volunteers on the Juvenile Review Board, is active in Citywide Youth Coalition and several other local events and projects. She serves on the ALS-CT Chapter Board of Directors.

Beth is a graduate from University of Connecticut where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Science. In 2009, she earned a Master of Science from Southern CT State University.
