The City of New Haven for the past 10 years has been holding an Annual Community Fundraising Workplace Campaign. Employees from both city departments and the Board of Education contribute to various non-profit organizations that provide much needed support to New Haven's most vulnerable populations. We are happy to report that, over the past 10 years, nearly $700,000 has been raised for the community. Thanks to the leadership of Mayor John Destefano, Jr. and Superintendent Dr.
Metropolitan Business Academy (Metropolitan), a Boost! school, is hosting a Project Showcase on June 11th from 10.00 am-12.30 pm. This will be a chance for Family, Friends, and Community Members to walk through and see some of the great projects that Metro students have been working on this year. This event is free and open to the public! Please stop by for some "coffee and..." and support Metro's students.
