Welcome to Your United Way Campaign

Thank you for choosing to give back to our community in partnership with United Way.  United Way of Greater New Haven brings together the caring power of people to create change and improve lives in our community .  We focus on early childhood education, helping students achieve, promoting financial stability and independence, and improving people’s health within our twelve town region:  New Haven, Hamden, Branford, Guilford, Madison, North Branford, North Haven, Bethany, Orange, West Haven, East Haven, Woodbridge.
 

Your dollars are leveraged to achieve the maximum impact to help those in need in our community.   Each year, United Way touches the lives of more than a quarter of a million people by improving the quality of life in the communities we serve by.  Your support will improve lives and reduce the economic and education disparities that challenge our region.

• $15 per week for one year
  ... provides 9 home health visits from a nurse or therapist for an uninsured person.

• $5 per week for one year
  ... provides free tax return assistance for 8 lower-income individuals.

• $2 per week for one year
  ... provides 5 weeks of tutoring for a kindergarten student to help her learn to read.

United Way seeks to build a foundation for lifelong success by supporting programs that ensure success for children and families in our community. Everyone deserves opportunities for a good life: a quality education that leads to a stable job, enough income to support a family through retirement, and good health.
