Yale-New Haven Hospital's United Way Campaign

Yale-New Haven Hospital's United Way Campaign, led by co-chairs Harry Nicholls and Patricia DeWitt, has been a great success!  In addition to the raising more donations to support our community this year, employees donated diapers and their time for numerous volunteer projects throughout the Greater New Haven area.  Over 18,000 diapers were collected by hospital employees as part of United Way's Healthy Baby Diaper Drive to benefit the Diaper Bank!  In addition, 60 employees participated in Days of Caring volunteer projects at  project sites including Roses for Autism, Ronald McDonald House, Neighborhood Housing Services, Martha's Place, Community Dining Room, and AIDS Project New Haven.  Yale-New Haven Hospital is a shining example of how an organization has mobilized the caring power of their employees to create positive change in our community.

A special thank you to Rev. Susan Asher and Roberta Chung for leading the Days of Caring projects and the Diaper Drive, and to all of the Campaign Captains and Committee Members for their dedication to creating a strong and healthy community.
