United Way World Wide Helps New Haven Plan Boost! Activities

United Way of Greater New Haven staff, board members, and a team from United Way World Wide met to develop a plan for United Way's work in Boost! The meeting focused on creating and deepening relationships between individuals and institutions. The group mapped out the timeline of what needs to get done to effectively develop relationships with respect to both resource development and results for kids in the Boost! effort.

This meeting was one of a series of planning meetings and technical assistance that will occur as part of the national Education Mobilization effort. United Way of Greater New Haven was one of ten United Ways take part of this intense two year assistance effort from United Way World Wide. As a result of this technical assistance, United Way of Greater New Haven will become better at leading the effort to give New Haven public school children the wrap-around support they need to be successful.
