United Illuminating "Brightens" the landscaping at the Clifford Beers Clinic!

For the past 10 years, The United Illuminating Company has conducted their United Way Days of Caring project at the Clifford Beers Clinic in New Haven, CT.  UI employee and Clifford Beers’ board member Roger Parisi, has spearheaded the project for the last decade. With his leadership, about seven volunteers recently spent the afternoon at the clinic clearing out debris, laying fresh mulch, and planted some fresh bushes throughout the property. The Clifford Beers Clinic provides critical mental health services to children families in the Greater New Haven region. And while it is often a difficult experience for children and their families to receive such services, when they are walking into the building they can feel good and confident  that they are in a safe and beautiful environment where they are going to get the help they so urgently need. United Way is proud to recognize and celebrate The United Illuminating Company’s loyal dedication to the community.They don’t just wear the shirt they live it! LIVE UNITED!!
