United Way of Greater New Haven and the Jewish Federation of Greater New Haven would like to thank all who supported and attended Eli’s on the Hill for a special Happy Hour to benefit the Neighbor-to-Neighbor Lifeline (N2N). Special thanks to Eli’s on the Hill in Branford, CT for their generosity in donating all the food and cocktails. Also, thank you to Steve Glick, Founder of Chamber Insurance Trust, who through his Chamber-to-Chamber efforts supported the event. Together, with their leadership and the support of the community, we raised $450 in critical funds for emergency needs in the Greater New Haven region and increased awareness of the increased demand of affordable shelter, food and utility assistance in our local community.
Ask any non-profit and they will tell you that the increased need has been overwhelming and the resources to help these needs are limited. The Neighbor-to-Neighbor Lifeline is exactly what the name says, a lifeline for agencies to hold on to and continue to provide the vital resources that the community need. With your help and support, the N2N effort has been a great success and we thank you for your attendance and continued support!!
