Students at Wexler-Grant Community School Compares "Good" Food and "Bad" Food in Celebration of Food Day New Haven

Mrs. Nusdeu's 3rd grade class loves their fruits and vegetables, but they know that the best food for them comes from the ground. They learned why french fries are not as good for you as potatoes, why grilled chicken is better for you than fried chicken, and lots more about processed and natural foods. To showcase what they learned, the students drew pictures showing food that is healthy and "good" for you on one side of the paper, and food that is "bad" for you on the other side. Their colorful and detailed drawings now hang outside their classroom, so come on down if you want to see their great work in person!
