Leadership at Yale-New Haven Hospital

On the evening of December 15th, Yale-New Haven Hospital held a reception at Central Steakhouse in New Haven to recognize and honor the partnership between the Hospital and United Way.

Hospital President and CEO Marna Borgstrom welcomed and encouraged her colleagues to join her in generously giving back to the community through United Way. Guest speaker Alison Cunningham shared information on housing needs, along with the approach that Columbus House and the Greater New Haven Regional Alliance to End Homlessness have taken to address this critical issue in our region. Jack Healy of United Way closed the night with comments of gratitude and recogition of the role YNHH has played in making our community stronger -- helping more children come to school prepared to succeed and more families financially stable.

United Way thanks the Hospital and its employees for their loyal support of our work. A special thank you to Patty DeWitt and Harry Nicholls for chairing the Hospital's overall campaign effort for the past few years, to Sue Fitzsimons and Paula Crombie for championing the Leadership Circle, and to Bertie Chuong for chairing the very successful employee diaper drive. You have shown that you know what it means to LIVE UNITED.
