Part of the Success By 6 Turns Six Celebration Series

An economic evaluation conducted by the Connecticut Center for Economic Analysis found that All Our Kin’s Family Child Care Tool Kit Licensing Program serves as an important workforce development support for low-income families and generates substantial tax revenue and macroeconomic benefits for New Haven.  United Way's Success By 6 Initiative has been a major supporter of the Tool Kit Program since 2005 as a way to improve the quality of child care available in our region.  

All Our Kin's Family Child Care Licensing Tool Kit helps informal caregivers build safe, healthy, quality family child care businesses in the community by providing materials, mentorship and support to help them meet health and safety standards, fulfill state licensing requirements, and become part of a professional community of child care providers.
