Carmody & Torrance Making a Difference!
Staff from Carmody & Torrance have been making a difference in this community for many years during Days of Caring. Every year they go to a different non-profit and volunteer their time, effort and energy. This year was no different. They went to Barnard Environmental Studies School in New Haven to work in their garden. They built a grape arbor, cleaned out the gardens and pulled out many bushes to make room for a large compost that will be used by the school. They are planning on returning to continue making a difference for the children in our community. United Way wishes to thank Carmody & Torrance for creating opportunities for a better life for all.
