2010 Community Investment Reviewers' Page

Welcome

United Way engages volunteers to make decisions about how United Way resources should most effectively be invested in our community.

Volunteers representing various business, non-profit and government sectors provide the necessary leadership and expertise to identify the best opportunities for achieving our community goals. The contributions of Community Investment volunteers make our region stronger and ensure that United Way is having the greatest impact possible. Volunteers also have the unique opportunity to learn more about the region, engage with other people who care about our community and expand their leadership skills.

Community Investment reviewers evaluate funding proposals and deliberate with other volunteers to form recommendations, which are forwarded to United Way’s Community Impact Cabinet for review before final submission to the Board of Directors for approval.
