Resource Materials on Results Based Accountability

Overview of RBA Performance Accountability and Measurements

A brief RBA primer that covers definitions of key terms (e.g. performance measure, indicator) and the logic that drives the RBA approach.  UWGNH has adopted RBA as a method for developing effective solutions and measuring the impact of community change.

This PPT provides a more in-depth overview of RBA key elements, including population and performance accountability and performance measures.

Trainings

United Way of Greater New Haven is pleased to offer a series of trainings to assist organizations in preparing applications for the 2010 Community Investment Process.

New for this year is UWGNH's implementation of Results Based Accountability (RBA) throughout our community impact work.  RBA is a tool to assist UWGNH and its partners to work together to improve program performance and change population-level results. Two trainings are being offered that will cover the basics of RBA, one for Income applicants and one for Success By 6 applicants.  The Income training will be held in partnership with the Annie E. Casey Foundation, and both trainings will focus on understanding how RBA applies to the upcoming funding opportunities offered by UWGNH and AECF.  Organizations that plan to apply for funding from UWGNH are strongly encouraged to attend the appropriate training.

Additional resources on RBA are provided in the Resources section on this page.

You must register in order to attend the session; walk-ins will not be admitted.
