Federal Emergency Food and Shelter Program

The Emergency Food and Shelter Program (EFSP) is a competitive application process for federal funding administered by United Way of Greater New Haven (UWGNH).

The EFSP invests financial resources in the community through a mix of programs/projects that are directly focused on individuals and families in times of crisis or provide prevention services that help people avoid crisis.
