United Way of Greater New Haven’s Leadership Circle was established in 1938 to recognize individuals making an outstanding annual commitment of $1,000 or more. Since its inception, the Leadership Circle’s membership has grown to include the most prominent and caring of our community leaders.
Designed for individuals who want to engage with the community to make it the best place to live for all our children and their families, Leadership Circle members are a special group of people who come from all walks of life.
Leadership Circle members are listed in the annual Leadership Brochure, receive regular newsletter updates, and are invited to special events.
They are a inspiration to their peers, colleagues, and neighbors.

This group shows how they LIVE UNITED by contributing 30% of total annual campaign dollars. Each year more individuals entrust a large part of their annual giving to United Way's work in the community.
