When you choose to give through the Community Fund, Success By 6“ or one of United Way's priority areas, you can combine your charitable dollars with those of thousands of other donors to achieve the greatest impact possible.
United Way volunteers representing a broad cross-section of our community invest those dollars carefuly in what matters: programs that produce real, measureable results - programs that change lives and shape our comunity.
Your unrestricted gift to United Way helps strengthen our community not only through investment, but also through United Way's work to identify, in partnership with other community leaders and citizens, our most critical needs and our shared solutions.
Your unrestricted gift also supports United Way's committment to volunteerism and civic engagement through efforts like the annual Day of Caring, which draws thousands of volunteers from throughout the region and supports local agencies or Volunteer Link, the web-based resource that has connected thousands of people who want to volunteer with the local programs that need their help.
If you wish to focus on a particular community issue, a second choice is to give through one of United Way's priority areas. They are: Supporting Children & Youth, Strengthening Families and Connecting Seniors. Gifts made to a priority area(s) are invested by trained volunteers in programs producing results in these areas.
