During the 2007 Days of Caring volunteers logged over 3,300 hours of service to the community -- worth approximately $100,000 -- to benefit the region’s nonprofit agencies, schools and parks.
An annual United Way event, Days of Caring brings together volunteers from around the region to work on service projects, mentoring activities, collections and drives to benefit local agencies, schools, towns and parks.
