How can they help me?

Have you ever wondered how to find a community service when you or someone you know needs help? Or wished there was one place you could look to find summer camps or daycare centers in your area? Or wanted to know where to call when you had a car or household items you wished to donate?

The first step in finding help is knowing WHO to call... you know to dial 911 for emergencies... and 411 for directory assistance... well you can also dial 2-1-1 for community health and human resources! There are thousands of health and human services programs in Connecticut and Infoline 2-1-1 can direct you to the ones that meet your specific circumstances. If you are outside of Connecticut call 1-800-203-1234 or if you are looking for a 2-1-1 Call Center outside of Connecticut you can visit the national website at www.211.org.
