| The Association of Volunteer Administrators (AVA) is a professional organization uniting those individuals in the Greater New Haven area who are engaged by a human service or non-profit agency to direct its volunteer services. As a group, AVA endeavors to promote collaboration among agencies and volunteer administrators in order to: Exchange and disseminate information and resources; Provide an opportunity for networking; Plan and act together in matters of common concern and interest; Provide an environment that encourages the development and enhancement of volunteer programs and the effective use of volunteer resources; To provide educational opportunities for members. Since in most non-profit organizations volunteer administrators are one-person offices, we appreciate the collegial support of members.
It is in this spirit that the AVA invites you to join us as an active member (Annual Comprehensive Membership is $50.00 from July 1, 2007 through June 30, 2008) and/or participate in our current educational series announced in this brochure.
