The West Haven Child Development Center, Inc. was recognized by First Lady Michelle Obama's "Let's Move!" child care initiative.

The center received an award for its healthy challenge programs to prevent obesity and promoite increased physical activity for preschoolers. Only twelve programs in the Nation received this recognition!
