John Richard Logan Becomes US Citizen

Friday, August 14, 2009, JR Logan, United Way Director of New Media Strategies was sworn in as a United States citizen in US District Court in New Haven.  Heather Calabrese, Cecily Jones, Cara Pavelko and I had the pleasure of witnessing this very moving occasion. The court room was a virtual United Nations assemblage of new citizens and well wishers. Among those present was Kam Lasater who draped the flag over JR's shoulders for this unforgetable photo. JR was presented with his certificate of citizenship from Judge Mark Kravitz, husband of  UW Board Member Wendy Kravitz.  Be sure to congratulate JR when you see him. He is a most welcome compatriot.
